How many books may I  check out?

You may have 2 books checked out at a time and  may keep them for 2 weeks.

Only if you don’t owe money for overdue books or have overdue books out.

 

Can I check out books without my ID card?

No, you must have your ID to check out books.

 

How are overdue fines calculated?

Fines are .05 for each school day that a book is late.

 

How much does it cost to print from a computer?

It cost is.10 per page for personal items.  The first 5 pages of work that is school related is free.  These copies can only be black & white.

 

Does it cost to print from the copy machine?

Black & White copies are .10 per page.

Color copies are .25 per page.

The copier is coin operated.

 

May I use the internet at school?

Yes, as long as you have parental permission form on file.

 

May I come to the media center before school or during courtyard time?

Yes, and you will need a pass from a teacher during courtyard time.

 

May I save my class work on the library  computers?

Library computers are wiped clean when they are rebooted each day.  To save work that you have done on the computer, you will need a flash drive or a 3 1/2 floppy.

 

May I check out a book for a friend?

Students are not allowed to check out books for other students.  If the book is lost the person that checked it out will be responsible for paying the fees; not the person  that wanted the book
